Clear the Air: A Simple Evening Palo Santo Ritual

There’s a quiet moment, right before evening fully settles in—when the kids are winding down, the emails have slowed, and the house begins to exhale. That’s when we light Palo Santo.
Traditionally used for cleansing and grounding, Palo Santo is more than a scent. It’s a signal. A soft nudge that says: the day is done. You can shift now—into calm, into rest, into home.

What You’ll Need:
1 Palo Santo stick
A fire-safe dish or holder
An open window or a well-ventilated space
A few uninterrupted minutes
How to Use It:
Light the end of the stick with a match or lighter. Let it burn for about 20 seconds, then gently blow it out.
Let the smoke drift naturally. Walk slowly through your space or stay still—whatever feels grounding.
Focus on corners, entryways, or places that feel “busy.” Breathe with it.
Set the stick down in a holder and let the smoke fade naturally. The scent will linger, warm and earthy.

When to Do This:
After a long workday
Before dinner with family
At the end of a big clean
Anytime the house feels heavy or “off”
A Small Practice:
You don’t need to believe in energy cleansing to enjoy Palo Santo. Sometimes scent alone can shift a mood. Sometimes it’s just about having a ritual that says, “We’re home now.” That’s enough.
Note: Our Palo Santo sticks are sustainably sourced and minimally packaged. They arrive as they are—no excess, no additives—just wood, ready for flame.
